That commercial is hilarious! Trying to say the Yugo is tough, and showing it bopping around off-road....meanwhile, in real life, you'd be lucky to drive the damn thing around the smoothest-paved suburban block without it falling apart the day after it was new!
I pumped gas on and off in New Jersey between 1989-1992. Anyway a person with a Yugo used to come in there and the thing was a piece of junk even though I knew it was a few years old at that point. Although I did think it was kind of unique

That car looks like it came delivered inside a big white box with nothing but black letters on the side of it that read HATCHBACK.
