This is what I love about this site! You always learn something new. I never knew a Scrambler came in this configuration, or that they were even still being made in '83. Maybe this site should be called vehiclesthatsneakypeteneverknewexisted.com
@ SeattleO, my favorite battered plates are on the front of the Duel Peterbilt truck. Probably my favorite plate ever is a vintage Bermuda plate that says "Jewel of the Atlantic", they seem to be extremely rare. Thanks to my family I was able to visit there before. http://www.worldlicenseplates.com/jpglps/AT_BERM_OT.jpg
Isn't this just a CJ-8? or are all of this model a Scrambler? Because it doesn't actually say Scrambler on it and nobody would have a reason to remove the font I don't think, it looks too badass.

Stock and clean. Perfect. I'm a huge fan of faded, beat, and battered blue plates as well.

I think it says "scrambler" towards the aft left near the bed...
What would happen if you drove one of these to the supermarket when you go shopping? Suppose you buy eggs?
http://theurbanpontifficater.blogspot.com/ its a Scrambler I sold them in 80's
I've always wanted a Scrambler. It's a tossup between these and the old Cherokee Chiefs for My Favorite Jeep Ever.
