One of these in metallic blue (& surface rust on all semi-horizontal surfaces), with white-&-nicotine interior (thanks, grandparents!) was my first car. Pretty well worn out at 130K miles, 90 degrees of free play in the steering, and room for 5 idiotic teenagers.
I love the 72 Cutlass... I love those taillights, and the grill... On this particular car I love that shade of green that General Motors offered as well . I've seen that color also on the 1970 Cadillac Deville convertible, & the 73 Chevy Malibu ( possibly 73' Monte Carlo) also.......Does anybody know what shade of green that is?????
The panel would be the door ... Actually it's also on the trunk and on the rear quarter. If you blow up the picture you'll see that light green underneath the dark green

One of my favorite car designs of all time. Yeah, weird, I know.
Also one of my fav bumper stickers - saw someone driving a richy-rich Rolls Royce with a bumper sticker that said "My other car is a Subaru."
Obviously, a long time ago....

Gorgeous lines on these cars for sure! But I prefer the Malibu's execution better.
Great patina, love those bumper stickers too.
I had a "My other car is a Cadillac" on my Fiat 128 at one time.
The joke was that one of the others was indeed a Cadillac, a '61 Sedan de Ville.
But to the topic: IMHO some TLC would do good to this Cutlass ... it has nice patina but it's getting too far and then you only have a rust bucket.
this thing is so good!
imagine putting a bike rack on the back of this thing and showing up at the skatepark. i'm dead serious.
