In Europe we had exactly the same car named Opel Kadett , German model, and a British one made by Vauxhall. Time after appeared a Kadett clon from Daewoo.
'Opel Kadett GSi 16v. Let others bark while you ride'. The voice over is by Constantino Romero, the guy who dubbed Darth Vader and Terminator, among others. So this was a threat of a car in Spain :P https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEfP9ddIS-Q
I got excited when I saw "LeMans" But then I saw 1988, and that was the end of that. They should NEVER EVER give the nameplate of a once-great classic to a downsized plasticized POS wannabe! (Only thing worse than these were the 80's incarnations of the Plymouth "Duster"!)
these were poorly finished and did not do well competing with the other hot hatches on the market. Kind of reminds me of a Renault GTA, but less impressive. I am surprised this one survived. The standard ones might be a little less robust thought too.
One of our sales reps had a LeMans/Daewoo as a company car. It was fairly quick for what it was, but a heaping pile of steaming pooh! One summer, maybe 5 years after purchase, the interior completely disintegrated.
This is really very impressive guide of valve selection which can be very helpful for many industry people. Thanks for sharing this valve selection tips. See This

Hi there.
Funny thing what car makers do.

Greetings from Spain.

Amazing find. I didn't think a single one of these in this trim level was left. Maybe you'll find an Astre Lil' Wide Track next.

I nominate this for "worst of".
I couldn't be happier with the comments so far. Would love to hear more reactions, but if I don't I'm content.
whaaaaaaaaaat the heck
This car is named Chevrolet Kadett in Brazil.
And the Station Wagon version is Chevrolet Ipanema.
Opel Kadett GSI
Prominent barging, rear spoiler, and rear vents (perhaps for massive brake:disc cooling) .. this thing must be fast!!
