I like the second picture.. The whole entire feel of that second picture seems gentle and genuine... The blue sky the green bush and along with the way the Valiant is parked. It actually reminds me of a Studebaker of that era.. It's something in that styling...
Mine had push button automatic. No windshield washers, so I kept bottle of water mixed with washer fluid with a garden type sprayer and long hose attached. Slow down, open window and spray!

Love it. I have a 63 Valiant Signet two door hardtop. 3 speed manual. Radio and heater and probably whitewalls as the only options.
Owned it for 35 years and it still satisfies as a driver.
