Don't worry, this beauty is on its way to being a running daily driver with all its trim (so expect a re-visit). For the mean time, a nice friend of the owner is sleeping in the car to keep it safe. The resident couldn't stop raving about its quality and rarity. Thanks Blake!

I just imagined a 1940s Packard Super 8 advertisement with a beautiful looking couple having a picnic next to a shimmering desolate lake during the sunset. They are sitting underneath a Weeping Willow tree and there are a couple full grown swans next to the water with the Packard parked to the right. In white letters it says Fly Away.
If you're gonna live in a car might as well make it a Packard...
killer find and hilarious story. so great.
love the setting, too.
Ask the man who lives in one.
In my city, they would have it in the abandoned auto reclaim lot in about a week.
You couldn't leave it in the drive or the yard either.
The hippie would get towed, too.
The plywood boarded shooting gallery would stand until somebody in the neighborhood torched it.
Both the home owner and the hippie are American Vets, so we'll make sure they'll torch your shack first.
That hood ornament shot is AMAZING. Best of 2015 for sure.
This car is in eastern North Carolina, isn't it?
Nope, this is a Portland OR based blog. With a occasional travel documented. If you found this car through Google Image search, make sure to check out the current daily updates at the main page www.oldparkedcars.com.
I'm a 45-ophile, and I love the vinyl forever bumper sticker! Real cool car, and great imagery
