Never particularly cared for the Falcon . I have to admit though I like the trunk it shows it's unrestored. For some reason I really love the last picture. It kind of reflects a quaint American life.
Wimbledon white I believe, classic 1960's Ford color. What an awesome little car - love the Falcons. I think my favorites are the 1964 and 1965 models, though.
It just doesn't get any better than this! Used to see hundreds of these cars on the roads back home. And most, if not all of them, were maintained in top shape by their owners. And these lucky owners got at least 100K out of them with no trouble at all. My only regret is never having owned one.
I've never understood why Ford went through the trouble of building the Falcon, rather than simply importing the Cortina/Taunus models. A move like that would have beat the Japanese at their own game..a decade before it even started.
You can't own 'em all Anon. Mike's right though, this car is beautiful just the way it is. Other than the front brakes and the windshield wiper system, I wouldn't change a thing!

I am not sure whether a factory-spec repaint would improve its looks. I really like it just like it is.

Perfect as she sits, no restoration needed IMO. Remember when Fords had those little keyhole covers over the locks?

love the 'rocket' tail lites, and the hood ornamentation. My favorite year is the '64.
