A friend of mine had one of these. Used to kid her about her car looking like Buck Rogers' rocket. I liked the 850 model better though. They may look great, but we all know that FIAT stands for "Fix it again Tony!"
These were unreliable BUT they were a good handling mid-engine car. The 4 cylinder was an interference engine; I found that out when my friend's timing chain broke and the valves punched a hole or two in the X-19's piston (s).
