what the heck were you doing in estacada? have you ridden their skatepark? oh wait, that's molalla. the molalla park is like a real pool, two feet of tranny, three feet of vert.

i particularly like the sunset glinting off your old volvo wagon in shot #1.

i bet the cazadero inn does some great onion rings.

Could it be? The last unriced AE86?

seeing this brings up so many feelings... the location is perfect, the lighting's great too. i can easily erase the more modern cars in the background and imagine myself in the late 80's when these were nothing more than an efficient little commuter. nowadays i'd imagine you'd collect plenty of napkins with hastily scrolled telephone numbers and cash offers from punkass kids looking for a chassis to GT-S swap.

Couldn't have said it any better....and you can bet it'd end up being rattlecan spraypainted black, have a straight piped fartcan and have a "phat ass" system wired in so they can blast dubstep while bouncing it off the rev limiter going 20 MPH.

how so? sexyhammer and justin are correct-the amount of these that end up being riced/molested by teenage kids is terrible

here's a story for you: not too long ago, my friend crashed his Corolla SR5 hatchback so badly it needed to be cut into eight pieces with a sawzall to salvage the parts. in it's final incarnation, it was a pretty mean machine: itb'd BEAMS swap with a W58 transmission, kouki Levin front end, carbon hatch and hood, lots of ***rare*** parts acquired after years of searching, all gone in a matter of seconds.

as i said, the car began life as an SR5 with the anemic carbed motor before being swapped to GTS-spec. it hosted several 4AGs including a GZE supercharged engine. there were more suspension setups tried and tested on this chassis than i can count. at one point there was a Trueno front on the car. would I consider it "molested?" never. i considered it saved from a life of mundane grocery trips until something in the drivetrain finally gave or a suspension mount rusted through, then it would have gone off to the crusher. not all cars are meant to live their lives in the hands of an original owner, totally oblivious to passing trends.

but when you do see cars like this in their original state, even a little rough around the edges like this one, it can be a nice change of pace.

silver lining to my story: he was able to save most of the important parts and has a red coupe shell to transfer them to. bigger and badder than before.
