... if interesting is your way of saying ugly. the x1/9 and aw11 mr2 were definitely the lookers of the wedge category. this design was slightly ahead of its time but mostly just... bad. didn't sell well, reliability was about what you'd expect, strangled with emissions equipment and dragging around those horrible safety bumpers. i would avoid these at all costs, especially if a 5 or 6 could be had for the same money.
well sexyhammer, that's your opinion. you hate them I love them. I agree that they weren't very good cars suffering from good old BL build quality, but they can be improved upon with better drivetrains, wiring , mechanical's etc. if one so desired.

Wow... just wow. It's always cool to see two exactly similar and yet rare cars parked in the same place.
I guess the other one is usually bought for spares and soon after the owner's inspiration dies off?

Wow, they actually look pretty good with those lettered tires on them.
one of my favorite wedges.in my opinion they have a more interesting body shape than many of the other wedge cars out there.
