I love the semi fastback look on the 2nd gens. looks like it's been well cared for.

Yeah baby. That's what I'm talking about. Detroit Iron. None a this conservative, Euro-derived styling. Just straight-up *style* baby, worthy of any self-respecting middle-manager, circa '71 or pimp, circa 2013. This thing is nice, you know what I mean? And its in really clean condition.

Lookin' good OPC. You keep up this good work & you just might make it into the big leagues. God only knows you deserve it for all the great work you been doin'.

Always liked the flying buttress too. Soon to be a midsize car, 1974..

Gorgeous, although those 80's-early 90's American Racing wheels don't really fit it. Magnum 500s or Ansen Sprints would really set it off.

Personally I'd take a '67-70 lean and mean Cougar rather than this inflated fat cat.

Sweet car! My dad had a '72 Cougar back in the early 1980s. 351 2bbl automatic with mag wheels, he wishes he still had it and so do I.

I love these cougars. Fastback, sequential turn signals, and convertibles. The TV show Charlie's Angels debuted in 1976. I'm sure if the series was on five years earlier they would've been using this car.
Speaking of TV shows I'm a fan of the streets of San Francisco and I have the first and second seasons. For whatever reason everybody in that show seems to have a brand-new 72 or 73 Ford product . I have yet to see a Mercury cougar get a part in some episode.
