i find the lack of interior shots to be particularly glaring. especially if it's acres and acres of green vinyl.
@gwt, you could time-travel back to 1999 and visit any hot topic to find one of those, maybe even the exact one on this car. then he wouldn't have it, you wouldn't see it in this post and be tempted to go back in time to buy it, and space-time would cease to exist. your parents' photos of you would fade from a portrait to a blank background. biff would run everything and your mom would have giant implants.
@sexyhammer, well, I don't want everyone and everything to be called butthead, and I would never deprive you of the chance at making your dapper jokes, so I'd say using time travel is out of the question.
Everything works but I can't find the APC box to tweak it like my 900 Turbos and of course the Clarion "sound" system is pretty much toast along with the "speakers."
And oh yah the interior fan and heater core are probably shot, but still not bad for $1,800 the fine Corinthian leather and carpets are still perfect yo'.
This is one of my favorite family cars of all time. full size, full frame, 460 ci V8. I drive a green sable wagon but it's nowhere near as cool as this
What a cool wagon! Looks like original paint. Those '71-'72 hubcaps belong on the '71 Galaxie parked behind it. (Also OEM'ed on F and E series trucks until mid-80's.)
You're right, Jay! I used to have one back in the '80's. I bought it from a co-worker, and it sure was nice. Mine had a 400 V-8 backed up by a C-6 auto tranny. I'd just bought it when some guy rear-ended us driving an IHC Scout II. I had the last laugh when I found out the Scout was totalled. Thankfully, none of us were hurt but it just proves what you said about how well these things were built. Saw one on a station wagon forum recently. It was for sale, and if I recall, the owner was asking at least 15K for it. I paid just $300.00 for it. Those were the days!

@gwt
you mean you don't use the term "butthead" at least 10 times a day?!

If you couldn't take it with you in this wagon, you didn't need it.
