I wouldn't say better looking than the mustang. I like that bubble back window that was eventually put on the car, I know Mercurys are basically similar to the Fords, it's just I always admired mercury, they leaned more towards a luxury car look in the taillights and grill .

Nice! The cooler cousin to the Fox body Mustang. Almost had a 86 ASC convertable a few months back for a song.
I have always liked the Capri better than the mustang
This is a year or two before the Capri had the unique bubble-back hatch and taillights.
This is also the year of the wheezy 120hp 265 V8 being the most potent engine.
Why better looking than the Mustang.
Wouldn't mind having a Black Magic Capri...those things are sweet.

hard to believe that ford built hundreds of thousands of these things.
no more appealing than a same-gen mustang, although those headlights/grill do come together for a nice package.
so i was thinking. this front on a mustang coupe? capstang? muspri?
