amazing. amazing that a hilux could drag around that enormous camper add-on.
I've seen these before but I've never seen one with a rear window like that. Makes me wonder if it was an aftermarket add-on by the owner or an option from the factory.
i hope the owner wears a vintage polo with matching stripes and has beige knee-length socks that he wears with brown house shoes and khaki shorts. maybe a gilligan hat and a pipe to round out the image.
his name would have to be "herb" or maybe "fred," and he'd invite you in to see his coin collection and share a fresca with him.
Ha ha, this is hilarious. I lived in this 1979 Toyoya Odyssey for several years and did a ton of renovations to it, foremost being the vinyl bump out rear view window and skylight. It is quite the pimped out ride, but when I sold it the engine wasn't strong, and there it lies in Bellingham.

The rear window, and the striping are sweet.

Great camper! I suspect the enormous skylight is also a custom job.
I would like to find a clean Toyota Camper myself.
The girth! And I suppose it would be nice to have that kind of visibility on the day you regret living in a death trap.
So much to love here.
Love the 70's as hell stripes....don't love the Walmart hubcaps.

The first picture with the big blue house reminds me of New Jersey.
