The guys who used to work on my Austin-Healey 3000 referred to RR cars as "buckets of bolts." They were kinda cranky in general anyway. The mechanics, I mean.
Like any handmade car they need to follow a strict maintenance schedule to be reliable and enjoyable. Once you start letting things go on these, they do indeed go downhill quickly and rather costly. The phrase "the most expensive Mercedes to own is the one that's cheap to buy" applies here equally.
I've never loved the pizza tag so much. The total disregard for parking space lines brings the whole post together and ties it with a bow. Amazing stance 'neath the Stark Street Pizza Company banner.
