Back when customizing a truck meant mudflaps and a winch. Not chrome and running boards. Love these Jeeps. Some of the best grills ever. Great color combo on this one, and no rim ever looks better on a truck than bare steel. Those mudflaps are so awesome. I've seen them for WA, OR, MT, and ID. Just the perfect period accessory for a truck of this era. Almost missed that tiny AMC badge on the tailgate. Sweet.
I had a '66 J3000 that the previous owner from California's Central Valley put a similar winch mount on - basically dual hitches. The mount (and the rest of the truck as well) was robust to say the least. I miss that truck.
