Can it be that this museum piece is actually still being used as transportation? Can you even conceive of such a thing? The mind boggles. how would one keep one of these things on the road? How would one insure it? What is its value? Do we have the ability to objectively evaluate the historic value of a car like this?
Proud to say this lovely lady is mine. Crazy to see her on here, totally found it by accident! Yes, she is my daily driver. Been one of the most reliable cars I've owned (knocks on wood). As far as how I keep her mobile? A lot of love and hours of research and networking to find parts connections! Thanks for all good comments folks! I remember talking to someone a few years ago who was selling an early 60's Rambler. We were talking about the car, I inquired about the horn, wandering what it sounded like. He said it sounded like "THE QUEEN MARY ". He blew it, and it did have that kind of cruise ship style sound :)
Nice ride man! My dad owned one about like yours. He scrapped it when the cancer in the floors got to be too much. I wound up owning a '62 Classic 2-door sedan. It was our daily driver for 3 years. Had to sell it when I got sick. Man, I sure miss that car.

Wow. I think I actually owned that car back in the late 90s. Bought it from an Oregon Nation Guard member. Sold it in 2002.

Right on! I live just down the street, and enjoy looking at this car in the distance as my son plays at the park.

pretty sure i saw this thing driving north on I5 this week. a wonderful sight.
