wow! that is one classy automobile. very curvy and such a joy to look at. that classic trico washer fluid bottle is too cool it looks like a preserves jar. awesome find.
Yep. Really pretty. Just oozes class and, by contrast, makes so many other cars look coarse and vulgar. Of course, those coarse and vulgar American cars with fins, chrome and heavy grills have their own attraction.
I love the mix of cars on this blog. From the mundane to the sublime.
There used to be a Dr. where I grew up that had a garage full of almost every Jaguar made. He had the MK VII and MK IX which is stylistically very similar. I told him these were my favorites and he thought I was nuts for not picking an E-Type, etc. I also saw one of these needing full resto on the back of a flat bed near Stark and i205 last summer, hope it found a good home!

And yes, the air cleaner is going back on. He was just enjoying a little drive after some carb work.

Beautiful!
Beautiful curves to the rear window and trunk. Love the grey paint and red rims.

Oh, looks like the original paint, and yet so shiny that you can see the reflection of Ben in the side shot.
