I briefly considered buying an Amazon in the early 90's, but it was too rusty. The guy selling it was grad student. He claimed, "You know, I never had any trouble getting a date with this car!" These cars have a certain charm to them! Lovely example, thanks for the post.

I saw one of these at a cars show last year, it got a surprising amount of attention
No doubt, it's well made. I dig the chrome trim; the roof, the c-pillar, the back window. The door handles and mirrors are awesome.
I always loved the fact that Volvo's had 50's looks all the way into the 70's. what a beauty this one is. great find.

I worked with a guy that had a blue one just like this. He also had no trouble getting the ladies - and he looked like cousin it.
