Wow! Love how original and stock this is! Great rims, and the early, simple, clean lines are great. Sweet car. I spy another hot hatch in the background.
I am not trying to correct you or anything, but that is a 1984. I will guarantee that. Also, I think this is a great thing you are doing. I am amazed at the number of old cars on this site. I live in Pennsylvania and 80's cars are nearly obsolete to see on the road. Even going to a salvage yard around here, 80's & 90's cars are mostly gone.
Just a tip, If you go to the Carfax website, type in the plate, click on the state, it will show what kind of car it is. Vehicles that have been sitting a long time do not show any results and sometimes when you transfer a plate from one car to another, it will still show the old vehicle registered to that plate for a while. But 90% of the time, it works.

Hot car.
Clean as hell, and stock. Just how a Rabbit GTI should be.
I think I prefer the Toyota hatch in the back. lol
Major douchebag car in the mid-80's
And the GLi Coupe was the yuppy mobile

How can you tell it's an 84?
