A workaday Duster. Nice. The ones left out here in the rust belt are restored with the fat engines and the wild paint schemes.

I just found this blog last night googling something. Wow. I spent over 2 hours checking out the cars. I just bought my 1st brand new car- a Nissan Versa hatchback. I couldn't figure out why I liked the car but this blog has given me some insight. It's because I was always attracted to the US/foreign "boxy" cars of the past. my car can't compare aesthetically to the older cars but with 2 kids the safety features are kind of a must.

Thanks again for this blog and Ii've already started rubbernecking some older cars I've seen around town. Is emailing our own photos OK?

And,of course, 2 of my earliest cars were a rabbit diesel and an absolute mint 1980 civic hatchback.

i am not sure if new cars are any safer than this plymouth(specially little ones like versa, yaris, jazz(fit))as i drive a 4door dodge dart(1974)every day&i feel safe driving it.not to mention my second car is a 1989 mercury grand marquis(like crown vic)with really high crash test rating&still returnes 25mpg on highway.i used to have a 1995 camry v6 auto with worst mpg than my mercury!!!!!

Spotted it as well, Calvin. I'd say it's OPC'able-it's 20 years old.
A plain jane Duster with dogdishes......sweet! What a car to start off 2013.
