Wow. These are really rare nowadays. I've always liked how the bottoms of the windows swoop down up at the back. The late seventies Subaru grills, with the four round headlights, look very cool. Great find.
I still cannot get over the looks of these wagons. the rear has so many angles, and that rear door hip bulge gives it a bit of muscle flair. I love how those taillights angle with the body. I think I like the wagon better than the brat, it may not be as unique but it sure is just as cool. such a beautiful machine. It pains me to be 2000 miles away from all these beauties, otherwise I would hunt down the owner and ask him if he would be interested in a trade for a brat.
I love it. Brings back memories. I had an '82 4x4 with the cyclops hidden fog light in the front grill. Painted wagon wheels, lol. I loved that thing :)
I had one of these from 1980 through 1990. I had a wheel shop make me a set of 15 X 7 steel wheels so I could run 195/60R15 tires. The car looked and handled great! Spent alot of time in the snow, and it could run circles around the big 4WD trucks on snowy, slushy or icy roads. But it's not for off-road. Got stuck a few times trying!

Great-it's not molested at all. Last thing a rare piece of tin like this needs is to be turned into hipster "STANCE WERKS DUH" junk.
