It looks more like a 1968... not a 1967.

Agreed, I think it's a '68 as well.
Gorgeous Firebird, perfect shots and perfect colors.

When I search 1967, it also looks the same. What features distinguish the 68? Glad we can count on you guys!

Ben,
Well the simplest way to tell is the '67 has side vent windows and the '68 odes not.

~ yes, vent windows and side marker lights.

This is beautiful. Especially because it's all metal, the real difference between classics and modern cars, is that the classics are all metal. The Pontiac brand was dropped because it was an Indian mascot. Note the Indian style bird emblem. I think it's a compliment to Indian lore, but not PC to someone more in touch, I guess.

it's a '68 the turn signals up front being rounded to meet the federally mandated side markers (also the pontiac side marker in the rear flank as well iirc). '67 had turn signals only up front below the grill.

also this one is a clone not a true 400 - or it is missing some original parts. on the 400s the horizontal line in the middle of the inserts in the grill extends forward to the trailing edge of the chrome bumper. additionally the nose of the front bumper has a grey pontiac symbol right on the front. on the rear you should see an additional 400 badge like the ones on the hood at the lower right corner of the trunk. some engine area mods too like metal plates to direct the air thorugh the grill directly to the engine, chrome valve covers from factory and a special fan w/a centripetal clutch that would cut out and stop stealing power from the engine at high rpms (assuming at high rpms you were going fast enough to keep air moving over the engine).
