Wonderful shots, wonderful patina. I've come to really look forward to these kinds of postings on your blog. The complete randomness of the patina, the near-impossible-to-duplicate effect of the weather, the elements and time on the surface of these old, virtually anonymous cars is great. Thanks for sharing your sharp sense of what is interesting. You're right on point.

I must say, I was even tempted to show the way the tail lights have aged differently. But I think it was a little too subtle. Made me go back and look at this Malibu, and this. To me, this is about as interesting as patina gets on an oldparkedcar :)

Totally agreed, Ben. This patina is something else. Love how each tailight has aged different. Love that grill, too.

No Nova! LOL, I'm actually in the process of restoring a 2 door coupe Concours that was my first car back in 1989. I've stripped all the chrome molding off and painted it Inferno Orange..this pic is a nice reference for grill alignment. I just found this site..I like it.
