Oh man, I would totally drive this.
Perfect shots too.

I love the colors of Portland - if this is Portland - gardens, yards , streets - all look nice in OPC shots

The rust on the horizontal surfaces makes for a two-tone effect that actually kind of works with the car's original green color.

Patina at its finest. That dealer badge outline is just icing on the surface rust cake.

that dealer badge shadow captures the essence of this blog in a powerful way.

rusting from the top down is fine by me.

It's photos like this which brings me back to this site every day...

These are so much more interesting to look at than restored Mustangs/Camaros/etc.

A local Mustang club where I live recently hosted a Mustang Club of America "National" Show. After you've seen one, restored to showroom condition, red, 65 convertible, you've seen them all.

There was a 64 1/2 Indy 500 Pace Car which had been pulled from of field...was in terrible shape...but was so much more interesting to see in it's present state...does the world really need another pristine, tarted up Mustang?

Restored cars are nice and shiny but the personality is gone, it's destroyed in rebuilding process and the end result is a mass product without history.

This car has a bucketload of personality, thus more interesting. This and VW double cab made my day, thank you.

Wow! I remember this car! It grew up with me in Lawrence, Kansas; from what I recall, they lived down the block from me. They had a '69 or '70 Grand Prix in similar condition. I would guess their son was in HS at the time, and he got the GP because he declined to drive this. Scholfield is a dealer-group in Wichita, Kansas. I forgot all about this car, and now I see it here! Thanks for the memories! I wonder what happened to the Grand Prix? There's still a relative in town who has what I believe is a '65ish Tempest or Lemans sedan, that sadly is in the same condition.

that's ridiculous.

Owner is very lucky... '66 Tempest and '65 GTO (?) in the same yard!
