Wow, you guys still continue to surprise me. Didn't expect to see this here but its gorgeus nevertheless.

Please please please feature the Accord in the background some day!

I've been wondering whether or not to post this one, but it's just so rare and I have so much respect for the Skyline lineage that I had to go for it. I think it's definitely old enough to post, but you're right that it might be the most modern car we've got. The only similar post I can think of is the 94 Lotus Esprit that Tony found. But man am I glad I get to see that one here and know that there's at least one of those ripping around Portland.

talk about rare--in california this thing would be in a government car crusher. or am i wrong, is it just the GTRs that are significant?

in any case, it's not too new--it's 21 freaking years old. for what it is--a '90s bodykit import on too-tall rims--i actually think it looks dang serious. your rear "skyline" shot is downright intimidating. beautiful lenswork.

Don't worry- you go Ben. Cars like these are the bridge to the newer 2-door coupes. 21 years old is technically a classic. So what's the big deal? Nice ride! Anyone for quick drift?

If I was sure that this was a GT-R, it would probably get the supercar tag. But I bet in the USA the slower RWD versions are more sought after for drifting. With how much work it takes to get one of these into the US, I'm sure it's a heck of a lot of fun to own.

But actually I think you're right, that people are pretty scared of getting these cars impounded and crushed, because a lot of them are not properly documented, etc.

The wheels are too big, but it would take a lot more blasphemy to make me not covet this thing. I bet it's just spectacular.

these cars are rare in the states because of there speed. i know someone in Canana that has one and it was because it was imported there and it was more than 20 years old. other wise it wouldn't have made it.

It's a GTS-T not a GTR. My co-worker has owned both and he had a quick look for me and identified it. In Canada, the import rule is 15 years from the month of manufacture.
