Oh God! The late '70's early '80's GM box styling was the end for me. I knew a guy in South Philly who had one of these (in white no less) and he thought it was the end of the world. This was the beginning of the end for Pontiac. If I were a resident of Paris (ne Parisienne) I'd puke. Sorry Ben. Leave Uncle Murray's white elephant alone. Hit the erase button.

Oh come on, we've gotta check it off the list don't we Dave? I stopped for this thing because the name looked hilarious (and I thought Tony would hate it), then I found out everything about this was hilarious.
No that is not a 1983. The version with the wheel skirts and the tail lamps from the 80-81 Bonneville is either a 1985 (if it does not have a 3rd brake light) or a 1986 (if it does).
I drove one of these...once. When it was new. You couldn't get me into it a second time. My friend who bought it, new, had so much trouble with it that she begged me to fix it all the time. I said don't bother.

The first car I ever drove! A blue non-brougham. The logo fonts on this one suggest it might be an '86. It's certainly not an '83.
I stand corrected. Tony and I can't love everything. Just don't put it in the coffee table book or on the t-shirt.
This is what Pontiac had become? Making gussied-up Caprices? BLARGH.
