It actually looks like a 1979 or 1980 Spirit, not an 82. The hubcaps were unique to those years. The grille on it right now is from an Eagle and the paint color is Cumberland Green.
As far as I know, those hubcaps were only available in 1979, and the Spirit itself looks like a '79 to me. And the covered AMC is an AMC Eagle Kammback (Gremlin body style). A 4-wheel-drive car, it looks like a '79 or an '80.

identify the old tarped car and get an OPC t-shirt, if we ever make one.
You mean the AMC Eagle?
Looks like yet another Kammback.
Hey Tony- how about a few snaps of the '62 and '65 pickups. These dogs are worth a post. The tarper looks like another Spirit.
Amazing. Nice photos. Nice research.
Tarper is another Spirit...and check out those GMC/Chevrolet pickups and the B-series camper!
@Justin: Looks like the tarp car says "4WheelDrive." Don't know of any spirits like that..
It's an Eagle. They made two door coupes, liftbacks, and a convertible as well.
SOB! Kinda thought it was an Eagle, due to those rims. Should have went with my first instinct.
