Looks like it was prepped for paint at one time. Long ago.
Personally, I think this is a really good look and, given the richness of color and texture, it would be sufficient to simply wash this car thoroughly, then buff the current finish in preparation for a good quality paste wax. How else could you get such a wonderful patina?
I'd like to know what a market-correct price for a "side-of-house (nee barn) find" is for a car like this.
I can't help but love this car. With all the muscle car mania- It somehow seems so peaceful and serene- as if to say 'F*** you- I've had enough of the drag strip and the racetrack- leave me alone.
First time i made a few bucks working on this beast..opened the hood it was a slant 6. First time I ever saw one..Plugs and points she was up and running..

Mean as hell-This is how a muscle car should look, not all this over-restored shiny crap that sits in climate-controlled garages.
