Holy crap, you finally found it.This car is an endangered species, that's for sure.
The incredible hulk. Those hub caps set it off though, i must say.
I love how those pop up headlights works on those ltdhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foKHKuhz0oE
Green and purple and peeling wood. Yeesh!
Save endangered species, indeed! Awesome boat...I'd totally roll in that.
nice exposure on that last shot.the purple trim makes me furious.
i came back to express my approval for the "endangered species" sticker. thanks for documenting.
Learned how to drive in one of these boats. Headlight doors operated by vac power. Used to love the "Star Trek" door whoosh when you turned off the headlights when "parking" late at night with ....
Possibly the ultimate tribute: You can now buy and drive a '68 version (very similar to this car) in Forza Motorsport 4 on the Xbox 360.This one's got non-original (but very nice anyway) wheel covers from a mid-1970s Ford pickup...just saying. :)
reminds me of the station wagon that Clark Griswald drove in the National Lampoons Vacation movie. lol
"...the purple trim makes me furious..."I'm at a loss for why they would spend money to do that paint job.
