Wonderful patina. This look is heading in the direction of the heavily-patinated vehicles that have been going up for auction at places like Barrett-Jackson lately. It would be nice to see this Apache taken in that direction.

I had a '59 with wonderful dual headlights. It wasn't nearly as raunchy-looking as this one but the stepside cab was caved in on one side.

Love it, digging that old tattered Slotmag.
In regards to the Barrett-Jackson....Hell no. Some guy in his midlife crisis with a beer belly will buy it, over-restore it and let it sit in a garage and collect dust.

I was thinking somebody would get it running and drive it around as is. Rat rodders don't do Barrett-Jackson.

Sorry, but there were NO Apache trucks until 1958-1959. The '55- '56- '57 were 3100, 3200's. Lots of younger people who didn't grow up with these trucks don't know what we Old Gearheads from the 1950's and '60's know.. I have a 1957 Chevy truck 3100 with a V-8 and 4 speed Hydramatic trans since 1979 and now it's 2018.
