Not to be picky (OK, to be picky), but didn't Toyota drop the name Hilux in North America in 1976? Everywhere else in the world it was the Hilux, but here it was the plain Toyota pickup until the Tacoma came along in 1995. Dunno why.
This is weird...This is my truck.. Thanks for diggin Eric.. He's a great rig... And by the way.. Those graphics and paint aren't after market, it's all stock baby..
Well... It'll be up for sale for a while.. It's a sad day but i had a career change and my need for a work truck is gone.... Need to downgrade my dog and I to a sexy old wagon or something more economical. Anyone interested they'll be an ad on Craigslist. Cheers... Love the website by the way guys... Lots to drool over. Digging the aftermarket wheels and graphics. Totally 80's.
Looks like a matchbox car

They didn't think Americans would like the name, but we do. So we're going to use it, because Toyota pickup just sounds too bland.

Did you sell the 85 Hilux? I'd like to buy it if you still have it.
