This is what 250k miles looks like on an imported FJ60. And no, the original engine and 5 speed do not need a rebuild any time soon.

My -89 BMW 750 has that 250k miles and considering the climate here, it's relatively in better shape than that Toyota.
As it should be, it was a very expensive car when new. ;)
Engine and gear box are still in good shape and should last another 250k.
Unfortunately that's something that can not be said for all expensive cars: They are toys for big boys and last as long toys usually do: Not very long.
