I remember seeing these cars in the late 70s and early 80s. When we would be stuck in a traffic jam on Long Island Expressway. I also remember seeing high school kids using these cars by the mid to late 80s. At that point these things had rust on them. A lot of the 1960s and 70s cars took a beating with rust on the East Coast.
Yep!!! It was my first car in 1981 - I was 16 and this exact color and 4 doors was my new ride!!! It had a 350 rocket engine and drove like a dream!! Thanks for posting!
Lol, it's funny to read that it was your first car back in 1981. This exact make, model, and color, was my first car in 1996 when I turned 16. I cut my neighbors grass for 2 years starting at age 14 without getting paid. She was a 95 year old widow and came over on my birthday and handed me the keys to the car. My Dad and I were both shocked to find out the 1974 Olds only had a whopping 47k miles on it and was garage kept for all those years. I so so wish I still had that thing. 350 4 barrel rocket engine. Vroom Vroom!!

wow - a four door cutlass of this generation is a hard car to find - the colonnade sedans were something else, for sure.

My Grandma had a white 1975 one. She traded it in for a brand new 1983 Grand Marquis.
