"How does one driving a land barge like this still need a roof box for more room!?"
I come from a family that had 6 children. We always stored stuff on the roof during our summer vacations as the far rear seats were already being used.
I love this car. The hidden trunk under the back deck, the tailgate that opens two ways, the FULL SIZE spare stored in a compartment inside the car, the V8 that can actually move this mountain with surprising swiftness. I have good memories of the LTD.
Used to own a 1977 of this same model Identical in color. I REALLY NEED TO get the paint code or stock ford paint name for this color. send me an email chuck_roosevelt@yahoo.com

I'm not sure why this has the label "Wood Grain" applied to it. This one doesn't have any.
wind deflector over the tailgate. bleached like a piece of driftwood.
Now I see it. thx

I was thinking the same thing Big Dave.
Bad.Ass. Love that color.

Man, this is the body style, I don't see myself liking another LTD more. Really dig the front and side profiles.
