I've heard these were extremely reliable - particularly the slant 6engine. However, by '75 this looked really outdated compared to the competition. It was replaced by the Aspen which was much better looking but not well made at all.
yeah, the slant 6 was designed to be cast in aluminum, but when they changed it to iron (or steel, not sure), they didn't revise the design. they do run forever.

This was my first car, in 1999... Best $300 I ever spent.
