Hands down, the most capable cost-effective classic for everyday use and abuse. These cars are fast, virtually bulletproof and handle quite well.........this one still wears its ultra-rare 1st generation hubcaps.
I have owned five over the years.....a bonafide classic!
The great thing is, if a Datsun survives this long unmolested, it has a good chance of not ending up in bad hands. Portland is such a big Datsun town, this guy must have a stack of phone numbers from people who've offered to buy this.

They really stole the thunder from the MG, Fiat and other imports of the time. All the fun and none of the headaches.
Keep her the way she is. Don't molest it with an lolhuge exhaust, lipped bumper and lowered ride height.

I don't need a Z. All of the Z's that have been left alone too long and treated poorly by drivers with light feet and a nervous grip need me.
I love it, my 71' is still going strong. Mechanically they were made to last, just wish the body panels were a bit more weather/rust resistant =)
My fav. Nissan so far. Gotta love the styling.
