My first car was this exact model only black with a red stripe down the sides and red interior. I bought it in 1978 for $100. I was 18. It had 48,000 miles on it. I drove it through college and then until 1991. It was minty when I bought it and still nice when I sold it for $200 with 124,000 on the odometer! What a well built car! I think of it often and I regret having sold it.

I had one of these - a blue '63 that I drove in high school that my parents paid something line $500 for. Total tank.
This was my first car ,bought in 1966 for about $800.Had it for about 6mo,was 19yrs old,blow the engine,great car.
