It's actually a 1953. How do I know? I own it. His name is Festus and he's a good old work truck. Doesn't just sit in the driveway. Gets used all of the time. Originally owned by the Uinta County UT highway dept. Then a couple of owners later ended up in my brother-in-law's driveway for many years. He got tired of me asking for it and gave it to me. Done nothing but replace the original oil bath air filter and put in a 12v electrical system. Starts every time. Even crank start him now and again.

man, hand-cranking must be the most satisfying feeling. why isn't a hand crank standard on every car or at least an option? (besides the risk of breaking your arm when it backfires?)

I have some pic's that I'd like to post on your blog but I have no idea how to do it? Thanks, Tim.
