Surprised this thing is still running. The engines were notoriously bad. I had friends with these and the engines were completely clapped out after a couple of years.
THIS WAS A CAR I BUILT, FOUND IT IN A FIELD IN GRANTS PASS, OREGON IN 1997. HOPE YOU ENJOY IT I PUT A LOT OF TIME AND MONEY IN THIS CAR. I WAS THE VERY NEAR SECOND OWNER OF THIS CAR. IT WAS TO RECEIVE A 200 TURBO MOTOR BUT I WANTED TO RETAIN A/C AND LARGE INTERCOOLER AND THE PROJECT NEVER TOOK SHAPE. IT ORIGALLY HAD THE AUDI RINGS WHERE THE QUATTRO LOGO SITS. ALSO WAS REPAINTED WITH A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT MIX OF THE METALLIC BLACK PAINT IN 2001 (IN TRADE FOR A CREME COLORED PERFECT 1984 AUDI 5000 NQ) NICE TO SEE SOMEONE LOVES THIS A MUCH AS I DID.

I had a 1984 like this , one of the most fun to drive cars i'v ever owned! It still did a buck ten with over 200,000 miles on it. I would buy another one in a heartbeat!

Part of me thinks this has the stock 5cyl with under 120hp, but the rest of me wants to believe this is souped up little Autobahn killer.
That is stunning. I love the 80s Audi side graphics
Absolutely, they're too nice to be original right? Looks like it has to have been repainted. But however it's been done, perfect.
