It actually moves a lot, I really wanted to shoot both Packards on the same day but I think they're under cover or in the garage a lot. And clearly, both are very hard to shoot in bright light.
Packards; they competed with Cadillac Lincoln & I guess by 1955 Imperial (Chrysler Imperial ) as well. I wish someone would have stepped in and saved that company. 1956 was the last year of the real Packard, & 1958 was the last year of the car (Basically a Studebaker) with the Packard name .

The GAZ Chaika is the same car, just remanufactured by the Ruskies. And it only came in sedan form.
yes! i know this car and hated driving past without shooting it. it appears not to have moved since then.
actually, i find the car even more compelling in these photos than i recall in person. well shot. love "The Four Hundred".
