i have a hard time imagining what it would be like to drive this thing. seems kind of cavernous, and though i love the sun visor, it doesn't help the effect.
fantastic paint color, amazing fastback profile. noticing the rear door set into the fender gave me great satisfaction.
I was given one of these as a kid. It was my first car (1960). I write now, and the Chevy Fastback is a big part of one of my stories. I wonder if I could use the rear-end shot on your page to illustrate it? The story is titled "First Car," and appears on my site at www.skipvanlenten.com. I credit all photos. And thanks for posting these. Lots of memories there. Skip
