I just stumbled upon your wonderful site. My grandparents had either a '67 or '68 Polara (I can't remember for sure, but I know it was one of those two years) when I was very young: two-door, eggshell body with black interior. I loved the chrome trim on that car. They just don't make them like that anymore. Such great memories of that car.
Wow, what are the chances. I just bought this exact car from a guy in Portland, Oregon I thought it looked similar, but its the same color with the same stripe, and has the same missing trim on the rear window. Its got different wheels now, but I'm positive this is my car a few years back
Having just bought this very same car myself, I was quite surprised to come across this blog and find the exact car once again. Her name is now, Green Machine and even though she doesn't look quite as pretty as those pics, I finally got that thirsty 383 to run like a champ. The title in the console was from Portland, OR and was signed over to "Unknown," from Waterford, CT. She now lives north of Boston, MA and is ready to roll once again.

Wow, thanks for the life update! I'm thrilled to know this is being appreciated and kept alive.
