i was driving my wife home from the hospital when i spotted it for the first time and did not pull over to get a shot. remarkably, it was still parked in the same location the next day... which makes me wonder if it's a new neighborhood resident...
said wife supports my car-watching hobby much more enthusiastically when i'm shooting cars that approves of. like this one.
Wow, didn't even realise they sold these in America, have a bit of a soft spot for these, looks real clean too guess the climate over there helps, as they like to rot, pretty rare sight over here now :(
Wow-this looks exactly like the used one my parents owned briefly in suburban Pittsburgh in the late 70s. Blaze orange, navy interior, and ultimately a blown water pump led them to sell it. I was 2 years too young to drive it...sigh...
My brother had a 1970 Austin America the same color as this one. I got to drive it on occasion and it was a blast to drive!
My brother ran it in local autocross rallies. In the '70's - the front wheel drive did well in autocross events again other rear wheel drive cars in the same class and event.

What a golden find, just priceless! Bet that made your day.
Beautiful, absolutely perfect example.

I'd love to have one of these, my dad had the slighty larger brother to this; the Austin Maxi.
I bet the view is never a topic of complaint.

"microcars", eh? :o
This is a much _larger_ version of Austin/Morris Mini. :)
Although compared to US cars at that time, this is still like a lifeboat on the deck of a ship.
