Total piece of garbage... those 2.2 FWD Chryslers are lemons. I can't believe my dad used our 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger w/Slant 6 as a trade-in for one of the NEW fwd Chryslers... a 1979 Dodge Omni 024. What a POS, when they get worn, those starters make like a tinny wail, that could wake the neighbors. What a big mistake that car was... our Slant 6 Dart was so RELIABLE. Chryslers sucked as soon as they went FWD in 1978.

This very much looks like a certain Opel .. let me see .. yes, Opel Monza 1983 with reworked rear side window, mask and tail lights.

Another GM product so why not. ;)

Definitely the description "lemon" apply to these Opels.

These cars are what saved Chrysler from death. They were good little cars and very reliable. Simple easy to fix and inexpensive. The were also just fantastic on gas and got over 40 mpg on the hiway and with the 2.2 engine could cruise all day at 75-80 mph.

With the technology available today, I could see a Turismo powered by a 3G Hemi V-8 and fitted with a custom chassis.
