Those were pretty flimsy cars... I used to own a 79 Mercury Zephyr, the twin to this car. I rear-ended a Jeep Wrangler(at 20mph), and the whole nose was pushed in. Talk about a tin can. lol
Ford wasn't even trying at this point.
