Man that is a gutsy car to parallel park! I hope that thing is fast, because it looks like it could really be packin some heat. I love the face on it, but I think that rear angle profile is the BEST. What a slope and great license plate.
Seeing these pics and the positive comments makes my whole month.
It's a '57 but has the earlier '56 grille in place.
I've owned it for 15 years. Paid $600 to drag it out from under a Maple tree where it had sat without wheels for several years. Welded in new floors, took out the dents, painted it, installed new bushings, shocks and swaybars; replaced the 1.6l engine with a 2.1, and replaced the 3 speed with a 4 speed 'box. Removed the 4.56 rear and installed a 4.10. Just got the new interior in it about the time these pics were taken.
Wheels are stock 15s widened to 6". The front is lowered a bit, rear is stock height.
It's an un-garaged year 'round daily driver. Love this car. Really great to see it on this excellent site. Thanks.

Rally car. So beautiful.
Awesome lisence plate is awesome.
Best of 2010.
This thing passed me recently while I was shooting something, and I gave the driver a big thumbs up. The wave of hot rod gas fumes were mad nostalgic.
