It was basically on the same chassis as the Omni, with same shitbox 2.2 litre engine. My dad owned the hatchback version of this ugly duckling, known as the 024. Our 024 came with a gross checkered, plaid interior. Yuck.
Even rarer is the 1 year only Plymouth version of this, the 1983 Scamp! They even recycled the same badge from the early 70's Valiant Scamp. Only seen one of these on the road!

I had one almost I identical to this one. It was alot of fun. It would beat a Camaro off the line, STOCK. Not ugly different.
