Wow, that is my car!!! Its a '79 Btw. Got the car free, and I always wanted a TurboDiesel 240, so I built it. Engine from an '85 740 turbodiesel. Did a bit of modification to the cross member to get the engine to fit correctly.
I'm not sure if Kevin is subscribed to these comments, but you should have no problem finding or swapping those exterior parts. That's one element of 200 series Volvos that I really appreciate.
Or are you considering the engine swap? Because I can't speak to that.
Update: this turbodiesel is still going, engine is a bit more tired now, i have another to put in but time and health and family get in the way. Still love it, i have been pushing 15psi boost on a recently rebuilt and modified injection pump. Friggin a blast to drive. It always leaves its mark.

Awesome Kevin, thanks for the tip! Your wagon is a one of a kind, I couldn't pass it up. How does it drive slammed on those big wheels and tires?
