Hey Sanam, sorry for the late response. These, like most US Datsuns and Nissans got the 1.6 and 1.8 L series. Because these engines went all the way up to 2.8L, there are tons of sweet hybrids and swaps possible.
I can't believe how spoiled we get with Datsuns in Portland, so few people will get to savor a 510 in this condition. Great to see a 2 door!
The Datsun 510 is an ideal subject for the retrospective, as this car is perfect for both everyday use and high-performance races. This car has not be designed or built to follow the latest trends with great handling it is a favorite among car lovers. was sold overseas as a Datsun 1200, it did very well in the Safari Rally,..wonder what motor came to US.
